System Stages
The following stages are intended to give an outline of systems. Individual systems can vary greatly of what is desired and possible for each RV. A discussion of what you would like to run in your RV is the best place to start.
Stage 1: Basic system to keep batteries charged. Many manufactures now include this in the base models.
Stage 2: Additional battery and solar panels. Inverter is installed to run most outlets except for Microwave and Coffee maker.
Stage 3: House battery is replaced with a large bank. About half of the roof is covered with PV panels. This system can run anything one at a time in the RV.
Stage 4: This system is designed to run everything and multiple appliances at the same time. Lead acid batteries are replaced with a large LiFePO4 (Lithium) bank. The roof is covered in PV panels. No need for a generator in most cases. Multiple large inverter/charges are installed. This plan can run one AC for 4 to 8 hrs, cook in a microwave, and do a load of laundry on a sunny day.
All system are custom tailored to your needs and wishes. We will never try to sell you a "package-deal." We can meet your budget and build in flexibility and expandability, (in most cases). We listen to what you want and discuss options and possibilities.
